The class televisions were optimized a bit. I fixed a mistake where teachers would somtimes not want to go home in certain circumstances. They weren't working quite as intended before. The Teacher AI has been improved in various ways. The Art Teacher now only observes students with 60% or more Trouble not 40%. The Art Teacher's run speed was reduced by a very small amount. The Art Teacher starts at the front of the school instead of the back meaning that you'll see her during the title screen. The Introduction text now comes before all the other new game menus. Fixed the mistake with the dream narration where it couldn't display one of your crushes' names. These starting relationships are also calculated differently. Meaning there could be more classmates with crushes and/or enemies at the start. It's more likely for classmates to have stronger relationships from the start. The way starting relationships for the classmates are generated is now different. Some of the Judgmental options when you started a new game didn't work before. Now students can't lean on any of the openable doors because it was possible to lean on the air, and because it didn't look good when you leaned on doors for a few frames when you walked through them. Fixed a mistake where in the previous version, kissed characters didn't say anything. Fixed a mistake with the Art Teacher's hair that was making her bangs darker than the rest of her hair. There are about a 100 new lines of dialogue or so. It can make them really sad or really angry at them. Characters can now react to their crush kissing someone else. Many filler words like "uh" and "um" are replaced with "like". Students with this will have the word "like" show up in their dialogue more frequently. There's a new dialect/accent option called "Valleyspeak". There are 4 premade students from the start. When you're starting a new game, there's a menu that allows you to select students from that folder to have for that school year. ![]() In the pause screen, there's an option to export copies of all the current students into the "Students" folder. Students now have a value for how thick/thin their legs and pelvis are. She runs slower than the Art Teacher but she's more persistent. Now there's an English Teacher! She keeps her eye on students that have 30% or more Trouble. Characters who are very non-judgmental are likely to have these eyes. Even though it's not alcohol abuse, some folks might still appreciate a heads-up that it's there.Īlso, sorry if this comment shows up more than once, I had trouble making it post.-There's a new eye type called "EasyGoing". (Side note: It might be worth adding alcohol use or drunkenness to the content warnings, just in case. What a place to end the demo, though?!! My heart.!! That's certainly one way to make sure I'll be waiting for updates, haha. Also, although I don't need the accessibility features myself, it's great that you've included them. It's good to see people given the space to just be. On a queer note, I really appreciate the slight uncertainty Sigurn and Thistle have about Thistle's identity, without any suggestion that this uncertainty invalidates their gender(s or lack thereof?). The sprites are very expressive, and I especially love the subtle changes in Sigurn's face. I love the world-building, feels very natural, and makes me feel like there's much more to the story than I've gotten to see so far. Wonderful! I'm such a sucker for fantasy drama, especially queer fantasy drama, and this definitely delivers.
